A Bumper Weekend Yet Again!
The Lovedale Long Lunch was our biggest on record, with over 40 cars, limousines and buses travelling each day to the Hunter Valley for our clients to enjoy the best of the Hunter's food, wine and produce while soaking in the atmosphere.
Many a selfie or insta photo was taken, mostly of the amazing food, but some of the cheerful and relaxed guests we transported, who all arrived home safely late each afternoon with some amazing memories.

I know that a couple of weeks have passed since our group enjoyed the Hunter Valley Wine Tour with Newcastle Limousines but, on behalf of our group, I wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip! Ken, our driver was excellent. He was friendly, welcoming and fun, encouraged our questions, took time to answer them and was flexible with the tour itinerary to meet the needs and suggestions of individual group members. Overall we had a fabulous day seeing kangaroos in the wild, visiting the wineries, a great 'beer' place for lunch and 'tastings' and exploring viewpoints which highlighted the beauty of the Hunter Valley and its environs! Ken was also keen to pass on information about Newcastle as well as Hunter Valley, quietly kept us in line with respect of time to allow us to return right on time to the ship thus ensuring the trip was carefree, completely enjoyable and relaxing for all involved.Additionally I would like to add my own comments in respect of your contribution in liaising directly with me with respect to organising the trip. Taylor Swift meets Jorja Hope in Style
Last weekend we helped make a little girls dream come true in meeting Taylor Swift! Jorja Hope who has a condition that will see her progressively lose her hearing and one day go deaf, was mortified when given the diagnosis, with her first thought being "I won't be able to hear Taylor Swift sing".
With alot of help from the community Jorjas dream was set up and realised, finally meeting her idol last weekend, with Newcastle Limousines providing a luxury Stretch Limousine so Jorja could really enjoy the ride!
Mel Hope, Jorja mum said "I wanted to say a huge thank you to yourself, Brian and our driver Steve for everything you did for us last weekend. With all the fuss and changes that happened in the lead up and on the day you were so accommodating. I could not believe how nothing seemed to be a problem. You were just incredible accommodating us. Your generosity amazes me. You can not understand what that trip meant to my beautiful daughter Jorja and how excited both girls (and secretly me) were to have our first ever limousine ride. The car was amazing!!! Steve our driver, what do I say he was awesome!! Stuck for that drive with hypoactive 12 year olds singing Taylor Swift must not have been easy, yet he joked round, was polite, and just so much fun to have on the trip. Booking transportation can sometimes be a challenge, whether it is by car, train, bus, boat or plane, but it doesn't have to be! All it takes is a few simple steps to organising all of your information and properly communicating that to Newcastle Limousines. This article will help prepare you for making smooth and seamless transportation reservations for personal use or large corporate groups.
GET ORGANISED
Having all of the information gathered ahead of time is key, because the earlier you can get the information to Newcastle Limousines, the more availability they might have. If you are putting together information for more than one person the easiest way to list it is in an excel spreadsheet. If you know the approximate number of clients and the dates, it is a good idea to give theNewcastle Limousines a heads up and then email the details over. Here is some information that is needed before you book the reservations:
-Dates and times of pickups of drop offs
-Airport of arrival or departure
-Potential pickup or drop off addresses
-Flight number
-Number of passengers and luggage
-Client name and cell phone number

Cruise Season Sails Away

Newcastle has seen Cruise Season sail away for the start of 2013 with Pacific Pearl the last cruise ship to visit Newcastle harbour for this season. Here at Newcastle limousines we enjoyed providing services with our fleet to all the cruisers - couples and groups large and small. Many passengers enjoyed our chauffered vehicles to take in the sites and flavours of Newcastles stunning beaches, fine cuisine and attractions. Many of the guests were pleasantly surprised at Newcastle as it now is - a renewed city with vibrant foreshore apartments and restaurants.
We are looking forward to servicing the cruise ships when the weather warms up and cruising returns later in the year in September 2013.

Lovedale Long Lunch 2013

We were busy as usual taking bus loads, car loads and mini-van loads of guests up to the Hunter for the weekend and transporting them around the vineyards to enjoy this renowned event. Our groups had a ball, with Tatler’s a favourite amongst everyone, and not surprising given the menu of Baked Atlantic Salmon, Grilled Prime Beef, Sticky Date & Walnut Pudding, an array of cheeses and live music by the beloved Saxanova and Hornet. Allandale was also a top pick with the Garlic Prawns and eight hour slow Braised Lamb Shoulder a hit…..not to mention the wine! Tastings were the main attraction at all the wineries, with the best drops the Hunter has to offer going down a treat. With groups already re-booking with us again for next year, we know why it is billed as one of the best weekends on the Hunter calendar.

This weekend one of our many clients indulging in the best the Vineyards has to offer took in two of the Hunter Valleys best kept secrets - Wynwood Estate and the recently opened Twine Resataurant on their Vineyard Indulgence Package.
After arriving at Wynwood Estate, our happy couple tasted Wynwoods traditional, premium quality wines. In the 1970’s, the vineyard was one of the best in the valley, and has recenty been purchased by an accomplished award winning team who knowingly apply their years of experience to bring the wine quality back to that of the old Saxonvale days. Today, using local vineyard knowledge, they prepare and nurture the old vines to produce excellenct fruit, while the winemaker hand selects the grapes to create such elegant Hunter Valley drops.
Desly Harris, the Vineyards new General Manager has 24 years experience in the wine industry, learning and working with some of the best winemakers and marketers in the Australian industry. Excited by the opportunity to work on a new venture; Desly is looking forward to working closely with the new owners and the Wynwood Estate team to achieve the potential of this famous old vineyard site and the Wynwood wine brand. Its a great spot to stop in and taste their delicious wine portfolio, including some fortified wines.
Following their tasting at the Cellar Door, the next stop was Twine Restaurant for lunch. Having opened in September last year, Twine is treating locals and regulars of the Hunter wine region to a new and exciting restaurant, where Chef's Matt Dillow of The Verandah Restaurant and long time friend from the kitchen, Adam Ireland are the proud new owners.
Overlooking the picturesque vineyards, Twine spills out onto a rose-trimmed courtyard fit for lunch in the sunshine, or evening cocktails under the stars. This stunning location ensures Twine Restaurant at Wynwood Estate a special occasion destination for visitors and locals alike. Twine Restaurant will be open 7 days for lunch and Friday, Saturday and Sunday for dinner although group bookings and events will be welcome any time.

Having A Cracker Of A Christmas
This festive season we have shuttled Santa's, and elf's and Elvis to boot. Dress up parties, themed events and all their Kris Kringle loot!
Santa may come but once a year, but here at Newcastle Limousines Christmas has been almost every day for the past month!
We have had a month of Corporate Christmas parties, shuttles, transfers and very merry guests, which makes us happiest of all to know they have been able to really relax and enjoy themselves without the worry of driving to or from their end of year cheer.
From the group of 40 enjoying lunch on the harbour, to family and friends catching up over dinner and arriving in limousine style, we have seen it all this Christmas and can't wait to do it all again next December. Our Staff particularly enjoy this time of year as everyone they chauffeur is in such a fun, relaxed and festive mood, it only makes us look forward to enjoying our own family Christmas experience, and one we hope all of you get to enjoy as much as we do.
